The formulation of Dyphox® is customised for your product to ensure stability and maximum antimicrobial effectiveness. In general, matt, glossy and washable emulsion and latex paints are suitable for antimicrobial treatment with Dyphox® as an additive.


Coating systems

The formulation of Dyphox® is customised for your product to ensure stability and maximum antimicrobial effectiveness. In general, 1K acrylate paints, 2K PUR/acrylate/polyester and epoxy systems are suitable for antimicrobial treatment with Dyphox® as an additive.


Printing ink systems

The formulation of Dyphox® is customised for your product to ensure stability and maximum antimicrobial effectiveness. In general, PU/PVA/polyester and acrylate-based inks, water-based dispersion inks and 1K/2K coating systems are suitable for antimicrobial treatment with Dyphox® as an additive.

By tailoring the formulation of Dyphox® additives to specific wall paints, printing ink and coating systems, we are able to provide additives that will not adversely affect the material properties and quality of your product. In consultation with our customers, we carefully validate all of the relevant parameters.

Safety

Any harmful effects of Dyphox® photocatalysts have been tested and ruled out by certified GLP laboratories according to OECD standards.

The antimicrobially effective singlet oxygen generated in situ is classified as harmless to human skin and has long been used in dentistry and cancer therapy – where it also known as photodynamic therapy (PDT) – or for the disinfection of blood stocks.
